Sinnet plays spooky-pants indie-pop with bits of soul, fuzz, and atmosphere.

Featuring members of: The Fatal Flaw, Bellwire, Those Royals, Mount Peru and Soft Pyramids.

Sinnet is doing a East Coast / Midwest Tour this spring support of their new LP Gentle Humor out May 8th.

Gentle Humor is a handsome mix of moody indie-rock, pop, and soul with bits of spookiness. Combining influences as diverse as Booker T & The MG's to Spoon and Paul Simon. Recorded at Woolly Mammoth Sound, Dave Minehan's (The Replacements) studio by Matthew Girard (Ruby Rose Fox, Will Dailey). It features a bunch of talented folks including Gavin McCarthy (Karate, Ted Leo) and Mike Stewart (Fable & The World Flat, Fresh Cut Collective)

The band was initially formed by Aaron Spransy as a laptop bedroom project following a move from Milwaukee to Boston. Following the critical acclaim of “Midwest Manners” the project quickly evolved into a living, breathing band.

The lineup has featured some talented folks including:

Gavin McCarthy (Karate, Ted Leo), Joel Reader (Mr. T Experience and Pansy Division) Matt Girard (Parks, Ruby Rose Fox and Will Dailey) and Jonathan Ulman (Thalia Zedek, Bearstronaut and many more).

Chances are he'd humbly laugh it off if you told him so, but Sinnet's Aaron Spransy is that uniquely talented singer/songwriter with an often-elusive capital “W." Spransy's pen is both personal and universal: love, death and the innate need to explore.

Sinnet's own name comes from a gift Spransy's father gave his mother: the license plate on several of her Toyota Camrys over the years… she loved playing tennis.
